Hi everyone,
It is good to hear how you all are doing. Jason, I already called you and sang you a lovely song to congratulate you on your letter from Jeff. Kyle, way to go with the grades. And all the band stuff sound fantabulous. I am so proud.
Julie came home sick today with a bad cold. It seems to be that time of year. She is doing o.k. but it sucks to be sick.
We had a great time on Saturday. The basic fam was there, except for Jill who is in Belize,
to celebrate Grandma's birthday. We had a great time. I love getting together with my parents and brothers and their spouses. Do you realize how many families there are out there in the real world that don't get along or enjoy each other's company? Yeah, we are darn lucky/blessed. I see it in all the cousins, too. I think it is so neat that you all made an effort to get together yourselves. We aren't going to be around forever and it does my heart good to see that you all will try to carry on the relationships that you have and will continue to build with each other. The thing is it takes your desire, commitment and time. So always realize it is well worth it.
Bill and I are going out to dinner with friends tonight and then Bill leaves for Chicago tomorrow until Friday.
Jeff, is in the throws of trying to figure out what direction his life will take. He really wants to move into Chicago. Today he has an interview with Cardinal Life. We will see what happens with that. He did have a job offer with the bank he has been working for, but I am not sure if he will do that. Well, tah-tah for now. Love you all, Sue

Hey I got this today from Youth Encounter, thought you all might wanna see it.

Jason,

Got your audition yesterday. I’m reviewing it right now. You got some serious skills – glory to God.

As we start the final review of your stuff I wanted to ask you about the international possibility. Did you get a chance to speak with your father about that? Any new feelings or leanings in regards to national or international team? Give me a call if you want to talk about that.

I’m really impressed with what I’ve experienced of you – faith, personality, talent. I don’t get to make the final call, but I’m feeling really good about you being a fit for our ministry.

jeff

So yeah, praise God. I may be calling on all of you for money soon :) lol. That's part of this whole thing. I have to get 50 names of people who are willing to support me financially (at least a small amnt). But yeah.

I love you all,
in Christ,
jason

Jason, I'm wondering if sometime in the next few months Gretchen can visit you to check out U of I. She wants to see what a big school is like. I'd probably drive her out on a friday morning, try to meet with admissions and department people in afternoon, then see the town in the eve, then leave saturday. Thoughts?
